Tethr — Delete your account & data

In the app (immediate)

Open Tethr → Settings → "Delete my account & data". This removes your account, your pairing, your circle membership, and your event history from our systems immediately, and resets the app on your phone. The person you paired with — or your circle — is notified that you left.

Without the app

If you no longer have the app or the phone, email hello@usetethr.app from any address with your display name and approximate signup date. Deletion is completed within 30 days.

What is deleted

Everything attributable to you: your account record, display name, push token, pairing, circle membership, your blocked-app lists (pair and circle), and the link between you and any lock/unlock or circle events. De-identified event records (no longer connected to any person) may persist up to the standard 90-day retention window before being purged, along with the remaining pairing or circle records. Encrypted disaster-recovery backups age out within 60 days and cannot be read without a separately stored key.
